Shade Man, known in Japan as Shēdoman (シェードマン), is a purple, vampire robot with a Hungarian accent designed to be an attraction robot for a haunted house ride. He’s the seventh of the eight Robot Masters in Megaman 7.
Personality:
Shade Man likes dark places and to hang on ceilings, and although he’s based on a vampire, he fears ghosts and spiders. He wants to be a singer and practices hard to improve his poor singing voice, to the point that he’s always with a microphone. Like how a vampire drinks the blood out of his human victims, he drinks oil out of robots, which heals him.
Strengths:
Noise Crusher– Originally meant to be a hypnosis-related attack, a wiring error has it turn into a powerful screech that can break stone!
Light Armor
Weaknesses:
Wild Coil– In a feat of irony, his biggest weakness is his voice box, which if hit by the Wild Coil, will knock it out of order. This’ll leave him practically defenseless.
My fav Robot Master.
For some reason, I always thought he had a mustache…
