1. Ortensia the Cat – base for Minnie Mouse. (Ub Iwerks)
2. Honey – Minnie Mouse is her base, she’s not a furry but is African-American. (Warner Bros.)
3. Minnie Mouse – very popular character. Ortensia came first. Minnie originally sported a hat, similar to Ortensia. Later Minnie wore her iconic bow. (Walt Disney)
4. Roxy – obviously based on Minnie but has a “boop-boop-a-doop” persona. Wears a hat just like Minnie and Ortensia. (Warner Bros.)
5. Mary Mouse – was around long before Minnie, but started to look like Minnie, which resulted in a lawsuit. (Van Beuren Studios)
6. Countess Cat – replacement for Mary Mouse, also has a “boop-boop-a-doop” persona. (Van Beuren Studios)
7. Honey Bear – replacement for Countess Cat, originally had a “boop-boop-a-doop” persona, but lost it by the second episode and became a “mute” character. (Van Beuren Studios)
8. Pooch the Pup and Poodles – when Betty became human, the studios who made Pooch the Pup gave Pooch a design similar to Bimbo, and his girlfriend was also a poodle, something Betty Boop was in earlier cartoons. (Walter Lantz Studios/Fleischer Studios)

9. Piggy & Fluffy – First appeared in “You Don’t Know What You’re Doin’!” (1931) by Warner Bros.
