Christine Falling was an American serial killer who murdered at least five children between 1980 and 1982, while she was working as a babysitter. She stated that she committed the crimes because disembodied voices instructed her to kill the children. She murdered her victims by smothering them with a blanket, claiming to have seen the method on television. Despite her history of mental illness and her claim that hallucinations were the main motivating factor in the murders, she was determined to be legally sane and was given three life sentences.
